It's perfectly natural to want to try Manus first without being sure if it's worth subscribing to. The good news is that in 2026, Manus still offers an official free plan, along with new user credits, daily refresh credits, referral rewards, and a campus program. The five methods below all come from official rules—no need for shared accounts, cracked software, or dubious promo codes. The benefits may change, so be sure to check the official page before claiming them.

It should be clarified first: "get for free" here means legally using Manus software and credits for free, not a permanent unlock of the Pro version. Any method that asks you to download a modified version, provide passwords, or buy shared accounts from strangers is not worth the risk.

Quick overview: 5 ways to use Manus for free in 2026

• Use the Manus Free plan at $0/month.
• Register a new account and claim the official 1,000 free credits.
• Use the 300 daily refreshed credits wisely.
• Participate in official referral reward programs that comply with the rules.
• Verify your Manus for Campus eligibility with an educational email.

Before you start, let's see: what's the difference between the free and Pro versions?

Method 1: Directly use the Manus Free plan

After registering for Manus, you can choose the Free plan at $0/month. It includes Chat mode, the Manus 1.6 Lite Agent, 1 concurrent task, and 2 scheduled tasks. Although its capabilities and limits are lower than Pro, it's more than enough to get familiar with the workflow, complete light research, summarize documents, or handle simple content.

Method 2: Claim the 1,000 free credits for new users

Manus official help center states that each newly registered free user receives 1,000 credits. These credits never expire and are suitable for a first complete Agent task. It is recommended not to start a very broad research immediately upon registration; instead, first try a small task with a clear goal to understand the approximate consumption.

Tip 3: Make good use of the 300 daily refreshed credits

Free users get 300 credits refreshed every day, which can be used for Manus 1.6 Lite. The official limit is currently set at 1,500 daily refreshed credits per month, so it's better to spread them across several small tasks rather than relying entirely on the free quota for complex projects. Daily credits are consumed before long-term free credits, so proper planning can help preserve the registration bonus credits longer.

Tip 4: Use official referral rewards

You can view your referral link on the "Share with a Friend" page in your Profile, and check the rewards in Credits > Usage Details. Reward rules may change with promotions, so it's best to check the official page to confirm eligibility and credit conditions before sharing. Only invite genuinely interested friends; do not batch create accounts or spam links in unrelated communities.

Tip 5: Verify your education email to join Manus Campus

If you are a student, teacher, or campus staff, check Manus for Campus. Eligible school users can verify their education email to directly use the plan benefits. The official page also states that inviting eligible students from the same school can earn 1,000 credits per person. The list of schools is released in batches; if you cannot find your school temporarily, submit an application and wait for expansion.

Five tips to make free credits last longer

• Use Chat mode for simple Q&A first.
• Clearly specify scope, quantity, region, time, and output format before starting.
• For complex tasks, first let Manus provide a plan, then proceed after confirmation.
• Focus on one main goal at a time to avoid prompt expansion.
• Regularly check Usage Details and use past tasks to estimate the next cost.

Avoid these so-called "free methods."

Do not download unofficial modified versions, do not purchase shared accounts from unknown sources, and do not give verification codes, login passwords, or payment information to strangers. Beyond the risk of account recovery, shared environments may expose your files, task records, and private data. The most worry-free approach is always to use your own official account.

When free credits are insufficient, don't rush to choose the highest-tier plan.

If none of the five free methods work for you, or if free credits can no longer cover daily tasks, first compare short-cycle and entry-level plans. Subplaza offers more flexible Manus options, suitable for users who want to control their budget without immediately committing to long-term official subscriptions. Regardless of where you choose, it's recommended to first confirm the delivery method, usage period, and after-sales rules before deciding whether to purchase.
